1947
Kanemitsu Doukou Welding Ltd. was founded in east Honmachi, Akashi . Started jointing work for pipe, sheet metal, etc.
1952
Purchased press machine and started making toolboxes.
1961
Started selling toolboxes across Japan. Successfully developed pulleys by roll forming and started.
1971
Developed the Double Pulley.
1975
Successfully automated production lines by developing transfer robots in-house.
1978
Developed current flagship product, the Poly-V Pulley.
1980
Commenced mass-production operations at Miki Plant.
1985
Incorporated and renamed as Kanemitsu Corporation.
1988
Developed Boss Attached Pulley by ring-projection welding.
1992
Developed Boss-integrated Pulley.
1993
Commenced operations at No.2 Miki Plant.
1998
Received Science and Technology Agency Award. Accepted by President Yukio Kanemitsu.Acquired ISO9001 certification.
