Human resources development: receiving trainees from overseas
Kanemitsu actively promotes recruitment of people from outside Japan based on our basic policy of “Using and developing human resources regardless of nationality or gender,” and focuses on receiving trainees from overseas bases in Thailand, China and Indonesia. We engage in development of human resources from a global perspective while pursuing our wider vision to “Contribute to local industrialization through establishing and growing local companies.”
Technology exchange with Thai technology staff
Based on our thinking that business in Thailand that does not contribute to Thailand cannot be developed and is not sustainable, we receive technology staff who are selected by local companies as trainees to develop them as human resources who can be active at the center as we enhance the functions of local businesses, to have them learn Kanemitsu’s creative technologies in design, development of prototypes, and mold processing, etc. In addition, technology learned by the Thai technology staff can also be passed on by them to technicians in India and Indonesia, stimulating technology exchange across national borders.
Since 2007, we receive around 10 trainees per year from Sichuan Province in China for the purpose of learning press skills and we provide them with practical training on production and inspection, etc. In addition, we also organize events such as a celebration upon passing the press skills examination, a spring party, an opportunity to experience a hot spring and various sight-seeing trips, to enable trainees to enjoy a meaningful and enjoyable stay in Japan.
We began receiving trainees in 2015 and have provided practical training for three years in press skills, as well as inspection, quality assurance production, production, and production management, etc., with a view to developing human resources to act in pivotal roles in local companies. After returning to their countries, we plan to have these trainees join local companies as instructors and instruct local staff in Kanemitsu technologies.
With recognition that “Sustainability and improvement of the global environment is a common issue for human beings,” Kanemitsu will endeavor to:
1.Promote development, manufacturing and sales of environmentally friendly products.
2.Prevent pollution and improve the environment through continual environmental practices.
3.Comply with environment-related legal regulations, ordinances, regional agreements,
confirmation with customers and voluntary standards.
◎Environmentally friendly products
Our manufacturing method is designed to generate no industrial wastewater, to apply no heating and to produce no cutting chips. Our products are manufactured through this manufacturing technology, which minimizes unnecessary energy consumption and makes maximum use of raw material.
The technology also enables product weight reduction compared with conventional ones and contributes to CO2 reduction and the global environment. We will work to further enhance our technology and improve our product manufacturing processes to be more friendly to the global environment.。
◎Community contribution and environmental activities
Kanemitsu has been maintaining flower beds in Akashi Park in Japan, expecting that “visitors to the park will enjoy the beauty of its flowers.”
We want to establish in-depth connection with our communities through such activities and become a crucial stakeholder for them.
